Conference Dinner
August 1st, 7pm
The conference
dinner will take place at the Schützenhaus Albisgüetli, one of the
nicest congress and convention centers in Zurich. While enjoying the welcome drink you will listen to traditional "Alphorn" music. An Alphorn (or
alpine horn) is an instrument consisting of a natural wooden horn of
conical bore, which was (originally) used for communication by mountain
dwellers in Switzerland (also in other mountainous regions of Europe).
Music by a Swiss band - folk and jazz music - will accompany you during
dinner, especially between the courses. You will surely enjoy this dinner (bookable through the registration process)!

August 1st is the Swiss national holiday. Around sunset you will
therefore have the pleasure to observe great fireworks over the lake of
Zurich. There will be many other activities throughout the city. Don't
miss this event!
